Weekly Update - Baja Softball Notes from the HQ
- Jo Ann Knox of
Discover Baja Real Estate has joined the Board of Directors for the
El Sauzal Girls Softball Association.
Jo Ann is a real estate specialist in the Baja Wine Country and has been a resident of Baja for over 10 years. In her previous career, she worked in the Hollywood Movie Business behind the scenes in the production part of the business.
"We are thrilled to have her on the team" says Coach J.P., President of the El Sauzal Girls Softball Association. "We are really putting forth a winning team of leaders and with Jo Ann on the team, the Baja Wine Country Girls Teams will just be awesome". - Jo Ann has been appointed Vice President in charge of the Valle de Guadalupe section. Basically, she is the "point-man" to make the teams happen for the kids in the Baja Wine Country. Her duties will be to make sure that our kids in the Valle de Guadalupe are able to sign up and play on teams. In addition, she will be the liason for the local business to insure that the kids get the support needed for the fields and equipment needed to play. To contact Jo Ann, simply email her at

Baja Times reporter Carla White will be interviewing the leaders of Baja Softball this weekend to put forth a good story about our program in the upcoming issue of Baja Times. Baja Times is the main English newspaper in Baja and is a great supporter of community events and programs. We look forward in sharing with her and getting her up to speed on what's happening with our program to help us get the word out to the community!
