Coach J.P., Director of the Baja Softbal Association(BSA), spoke with Rosy Torres, head of the D.I.F. in Rosarito this weekend to begin the process of starting the ROSARITO BEACH GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION.
Rosy Torres, proactive community leader in Rosarito, said that the budget for youth sports was just increased from $ 200,000 to $ 4,000,0000 USD and that their will be funds to support the program including fields, equipment and uniforms.
Rosy Torres and Coach J.P. will be meeting with sports leaders in Rosarito within the next 2 weeks to put forth the program for Rosarito and get it ready for coaching clinics in May and players clinics in the summer with an eye on beginning the new recreation league starting September of 2008.
